I feel really sick on ritalin

Q. I was recently diagnosed with ADHD which was a result of going to see my doctor about my concentration problems which were really starting to effect my daily life, anyway I went to see him and he run a number of tests which all came back with a positive diagnosis's of ADHD. My doctor has been very helpful through the whole process which has been a great help to me and my family, he prescribed me Ritalin to help me deal with my symptoms. The Ritalin is really helping me get things under control but it really makes me feel sick and I don't know what to do about it.

It's good that you have been diagnosed finally with ADHD as now you can get things sorted and under control. Now when it comes to ritalin there are a lot of possible side effects that can come from taking it most of which normally subside after your body gets used to it, in about 6/8 weeks.

If you are still feeling sick after this time then it is a very clear indication that your body will not adjust to it and you will need to go and see you doctor about this problem, there are other medications and dosages that can be tried and tested to help you get this side effect under control, I hope this has helped you.
